rat_brainA Swedish study subjected rats to 2 hours of cell phone usage for 50 days.  At the end of this time, the brains were compared to non-cell phone users.  Dr. Lee Cowden recommends turning your cell phone on “airplane mode” during the day, and checking for messages 3 or 4 times a day by turning off the “airplane mode”.  It is unhealthy to be around a cell phone in the active mode all day.  Definitely, don’t put the cell phone to your head to answer or make calls.  Use speaker phone. Or an air-tube hands-free set.
