Dr. Alan Gaby reported in the January 2009 Townsend letter that 1/3 of patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) may have a fructose intolerance.

By eliminating fructose, patients had a decrease in bloating, cramping, diarrhea, belching and fullness.

This is simple to do.  Eliminate all fruit for 4 to 6 weeks.

Remember to look on labels, as fructose and high fructose corn syrup are a sweetener in many products.

Also high fructose corn syrup has recently been linked with mercury toxicity.

Watch out for it on labels!
